Mahogany and mahogany veneer Empire period chest. Found in eastern Massachusetts and possibly of Boston origin. 6 drawers, 2 over 3 over 1. The bottom drawer is hidden. Overall dimensions 71 inches high to top of finials and 35 inch case width. ca. 1830 - 1840. $2,950.
